Well, not quite this!
In my earlier days I spent a lot of time touring on bicycles - lots. But, the last major ride I did was over ten years back, so I am overdue! Karina has done some good bike rides, some great hikes and camping, and she's almost 13!
The idea of making a trans America journey came up the first time when Karina was only 5, it went into a list scheduling it for when she turned 14. The opportunity came one year early, but we'll be ready come June 14!
We both have a bunch of training to do to get ready. We start in at the gym this Sunday (I'm buying tylenol on Saturday)!
