Good Morining. Just wanted to let you all know the website information for the CAMP Mobility Project: www.campmobilityproject.org
This project is Ken's brainchild and is an example of a great guy doing a great thing. The website has information on the Project and for the "Ride Across America" that we three are taking together. From the site you can download a sponsorship form and make a donation; just follow the links!
Plans are taking shape for the departure, which should be an excellent day. T minus 102 days and counting!
Around the house, I am still working out details for the ride and for the time we'll be away. If you think it might be easy to come up with ten weeks continuous time to devote to a project, well, it's not the easiest thing - though it sure is exciting!
We've been putting in time at the local health club. Karina was on the treadmill for two hours last night, a nice fast walk (having managed to break her little toe the morning before on the stairs). Her foot was sore, but she wanted to continue our training (and there was an episode of some cooking show on the tele, so she was engrossed in that. It'll be a shift getting used to seeing traffic and landscapes after the pattern of video while exercising.
My time at the gym is going fine. My body is actually starting to reshape itself into the form that my mind never really accepted that it wasn't any longer - did that make sense? What I meant to write was that I am getting in better condition and that my body is cooperating nicely so far. Nothing like the prospect of many weeks on a self-propelled wonder machine to keep my motivation going.
Our birthday is coming up fast; 13 & 51 on the same day.
